Wapanocca National Wildlife Refuge

10/1/2015 We continued north a bit to Wapanocca NWR. As is often the case, there really wasn't much here. The office was closed, but we picked up a map and drove some of the Nature Drive. We made one stop along the lake for a walk along the boardwalk over a swampy area covered with a heavy green algae with cypress trees. The only wildlife we saw were a few birds that we scared off while passing by.
