Hoover Dam - 11/4/2002
Once known as Boulder Dam, a concrete arch-gravity dam constructed between 1931 and 1936 on the Colorado River, on the border between Arizona and Nevada.

Leonard Rockshelter - 5/24/2014
A prehistoric site in Nevada discovered in 1936 that is significant for the long continuum of sporadic cultural occupations recorded in its stratigraphy (6710 BC-1400 AD).

Mckeen Motor Car #70 (Carson City) - 5/25/2014
This is a gasoline-powered railcar built for the Virginia and Truckee Railroad in 1910 by the McKeen Motor Car Company.

Nevada Northern Railway (Ely) - 5/23/2014
Established in 1905 to support the area's booming copper mining industry, it is the best-preserved, least altered, and most complete main yard complex remaining from the steam railroad era.

Virginia City Historic District (Virginia City) - 6/1985
An area encompassing a number of former mining villages including Virginia City, a prototype for future frontier mining boom towns.
